ISO Certifications
Buyers, tenders, lenders and regulators increasingly ask for a certified management system alongside your statutory approvals. We implement the standard around how you already work, run the internal audit and take you through an accredited certification body's audit — never a certificate bought online. Environmental, safety and energy standards are our home ground, and we cover quality, food safety, information security and the specialist standards too.

ISO Certification in India (All Standards)
ISO certification shows customers, regulators and lenders that your management system meets an internationally recognised standard: quality (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001), health and safety (ISO 45001), food safety (ISO 22000), information security (ISO 27001) and others. We help you pick the standard your buyers and tenders actually ask for, build the system around how you already work, run the internal audit and take you through the certification body's Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits to an accredited certificate that any buyer can verify.

ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) Certification
ISO 14001:2015 is the international standard for environmental management systems. It asks an organisation to identify its environmental aspects and legal obligations, set objectives, control operations and emergencies, monitor performance and keep improving. For an Indian unit that already holds SPCB consents and waste authorisations, ISO 14001 is the natural next step: it organises those obligations into one system, satisfies buyer and lender ESG questionnaires, and is the certification several State Pollution Control Boards reward with incentives. As environmental specialists, this is the standard we know best.

ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System (FSMS) Certification
ISO 22000:2018 combines HACCP principles, prerequisite programmes and management system requirements into one food safety standard for any organisation in the food chain: manufacturers, packers, caterers, cold chains, ingredient suppliers and packaging makers. Indian food businesses already need an FSSAI licence and must comply with Schedule 4 hygiene requirements; ISO 22000 builds on that baseline and is the certificate modern retail, QSR chains, exporters and institutional buyers expect from suppliers.

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification
ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard for quality management and the certification most frequently asked for in vendor registration, government and PSU tenders and customer audits. It requires an organisation to understand its customers and context, control its processes, manage risk, measure performance and improve. We implement it in a way that fits your size, because a 20-person workshop should not end up with a 200-page manual, and take you through to an accredited certificate.

ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System (EnMS) Certification
ISO 50001:2018 gives organisations a systematic way to measure, manage and continually improve energy performance: an energy review, baselines and performance indicators, operational controls, procurement and design criteria and a monitoring plan. For energy-intensive Indian industries it complements the Energy Conservation Act framework of mandatory energy audits, PAT targets and, going forward, the Indian Carbon Market, and it typically pays for itself through savings of 5 to 10 percent in the first cycle.

ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System Certification
ISO 45001:2018 is the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems and the replacement for OHSAS 18001. It requires hazard identification and risk assessment, legal compliance, worker participation, operational controls, emergency preparedness, incident investigation and continual improvement. Indian factories, construction sites and contractors are expected to show an OH&S system in EPC tenders, OEM vendor audits and lender due diligence, and the system doubles as the backbone of Factories Act and BOCW Act compliance.

ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 IT Service Management System Certification
ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 is the international standard for IT service management systems: service portfolio, SLAs, incident and problem management, change and release, capacity, continuity, supplier management and continual improvement, aligned with ITIL practice. Managed service providers, data centres, software support teams and in-house IT functions use it to win and retain enterprise, BFSI and government contracts where certified service management is a tender condition.

ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Certification
ISO 31000:2018 provides principles, a framework and a process for managing risk of any kind across an organisation. Unlike most ISO standards it is a guideline rather than a certifiable requirements standard, so certification bodies issue a conformity or attestation certificate against it. Listed companies, lenders and large groups use it to structure the enterprise risk management that SEBI's LODR Regulations and the Companies Act expect boards to oversee, and to make risk registers consistent across plants, subsidiaries and functions.

ISO 13485:2016 Medical Devices Quality Management System Certification
ISO 13485:2016 is the quality management standard specific to medical devices, covering design and development, risk management (ISO 14971), traceability, sterile and clean-room controls, post-market surveillance and regulatory reporting. In India the Medical Devices Rules, 2017 require manufacturers to operate a quality management system conforming to the Fifth Schedule, which is closely aligned with ISO 13485, and CDSCO licence applications and notified-body audits expect it. It is also the gateway to CE marking, US FDA alignment and most export markets.

ISO 21101:2014 Adventure Tourism Safety Management System Certification
ISO 21101:2014 sets requirements for a safety management system for adventure tourism activity providers: leadership and safety policy, hazard identification and risk assessment for each activity, competence of leaders and guides, participant information, equipment management, emergency response and incident review. In India, state adventure tourism rules and the Ministry of Tourism's guidelines increasingly require registration and safety systems from operators, and ISO 21101 is the recognised international benchmark that satisfies regulators, insurers, schools and corporate clients.

ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System Certification
ISO 37001:2016 specifies an anti-bribery management system: risk assessment, due diligence on third parties, financial and non-financial controls, gifts and hospitality rules, whistle-blowing, investigation and top-management oversight. Since the 2018 amendment to the Prevention of Corruption Act made commercial organisations liable for bribery by anyone acting on their behalf, with a defence only for companies that had adequate procedures in place, a certified system has become the practical way for Indian companies, especially those dealing with government, to demonstrate those procedures to boards, lenders, multinational partners and investigators.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management System (ISMS) Certification
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is the international standard for information security management systems. It requires an organisation to assess information security risks, select and implement controls from the 93 controls in Annex A, run them, measure them and improve. It is the certification most often demanded by enterprise customers, BFSI clients and public-sector buyers of IT, BPO, SaaS and data-handling services, and the practical foundation for compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and CERT-In directions.

ISO 16001:2017 Earth-Moving Machinery Object Detection & Visibility Aids Certification
ISO 16001:2017 specifies performance requirements and test procedures for object detection systems and visibility aids fitted to earth-moving machinery to reduce the risk of collisions with people and objects: radar and ultrasonic proximity sensors, camera-monitor systems and mirrors. Manufacturers, importers, rental fleets and mining and construction contractors use conformity certification against it to meet OEM specifications, mine safety directives and site safety requirements for heavy equipment. Note that ISO 16001 is often confused with the withdrawn European energy management standard EN 16001, which has been replaced by ISO 50001.

ISO 39001:2012 Road Traffic Safety Management System Certification
ISO 39001:2012 specifies a road traffic safety (RTS) management system for organisations that interact with the road network: transport and logistics companies, bus and fleet operators, companies with sales and service fleets, road contractors and anyone whose employees or contractors drive for work. It requires RTS performance factors such as driver fitness, vehicle condition, speed, journey planning and incident response to be measured and improved, and is increasingly required by oil and gas, mining, FMCG and pharma companies of their transporters.

ISO 2768-1 General Tolerances Compliance Certification
ISO 2768-1 defines general tolerances for linear and angular dimensions without individual tolerance indications on engineering drawings, in four classes: fine (f), medium (m), coarse (c) and very coarse (v). Machine shops, fabricators, forging and casting units and precision component makers supplying automotive, engineering and export OEMs are asked to declare and prove that their drawings, processes and inspection conform to the stated ISO 2768 class. We audit your drawing control, process capability and inspection records against the standard and arrange a conformity certificate from a certification body, usually alongside ISO 9001.

Common questions
ISO Certifications, explained
Which ISO standard do I need?
It depends on who is asking. ISO 9001 (quality) is the most widely requested in vendor registrations and tenders; ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) are expected of manufacturers, contractors and anyone supplying large industrial groups; ISO 22000 for food businesses; ISO 27001 for IT, BPO and anyone handling customer data; ISO 13485 for medical devices. Many companies certify to 9001, 14001 and 45001 together as an integrated management system, which costs far less than doing each separately.
Does ISO 14001 replace my Consent to Operate?
No. Consent to Operate, waste authorisations and EPR registration are statutory and remain mandatory. ISO 14001 is the management system that keeps those obligations under control and proves it to a third party. The standard requires you to identify and comply with them, so an EMS built without valid consents will fail the certification audit.
Is ISO 22000 the same as HACCP?
HACCP is the hazard-analysis methodology at the heart of ISO 22000. ISO 22000 adds the management system around it: policy, planning, communication, prerequisite programmes, emergency preparedness, verification and continual improvement. A HACCP certificate alone covers the plan; ISO 22000 certifies the whole system.
How much does ISO 9001 certification cost in total?
Two components: our implementation fee, which starts at the figure shown and depends on size and complexity, and the certification body's fee, typically ₹25,000 to ₹60,000 for a small organisation over the three-year cycle including surveillance, scaling with employee numbers and sites. We obtain quotes from two or three accredited bodies so you can compare.
How is ISO 50001 different from an energy audit?
An energy audit is a one-time study that finds savings opportunities. ISO 50001 is the ongoing system that implements them, measures the result against a baseline and keeps finding the next opportunity. Most organisations use the energy audit as the first step of the ISO 50001 energy review.
We had OHSAS 18001. Is it still valid?
No. OHSAS 18001 was withdrawn in March 2021 and all certificates either migrated to ISO 45001 or lapsed. If your documentation still references OHSAS 18001 you need a fresh ISO 45001 implementation and audit; much of the old system can be reused.
