Based on Schedule II of the Plastic Waste Management (Amendment) Rules, 2022 as currently notified. The EPR target equals 100% of plastic placed on market; the balance of the target not met through recycling is met through end-of-life disposal certificates. Reuse applies to rigid packaging above notified volume thresholds. Certificate prices vary by category and quarter, so we quote them separately. Verify live figures on the CPCB EPR portal.
Next steps
- 1. Register as Producer / Importer / Brand Owner on the CPCB portal.
- 2. File quarterly and annual returns against these targets.
- 3. Buy certificates from registered recyclers before 30 June.
