ESG Strategy & Materiality Assessment

Investors, lenders, large customers and SEBI now expect companies to show how environmental, social and governance risks are managed — not just described. We run a structured materiality assessment, benchmark you against peers and frameworks such as GRI, ISSB and BRSR, and deliver a 3-year ESG roadmap with targets, governance and a data architecture that makes every later disclosure easier.

Starting price
From ₹1,50,000

BRSR & BRSR Core Reporting

SEBI requires the top 1,000 listed companies by market capitalisation to publish a Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report as part of their annual report, and the BRSR Core set of KPIs is being phased into reasonable assurance or assessment for progressively more companies. We collect and validate the data across all nine NGRBC principles, draft the report in SEBI's format, prepare the evidence trail for the assurance provider and align the disclosures with your GRI or ISSB reporting.

Starting price
From ₹1,25,000
Turnaround
30–60 working days

Carbon Footprint & Carbon Credits

A GHG inventory tells you where your emissions come from and is the starting point for BRSR Core, customer disclosures, net-zero targets and participation in the Indian Carbon Market. We build your Scope 1, 2 and 3 inventory under the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1, prepare it for third-party verification and advise on carbon credit opportunities — both under the compliance mechanism of the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme, 2023 and in voluntary markets.

Starting price
From ₹75,000
Turnaround
20–45 working days

Net-Zero & Decarbonisation Roadmap

A net-zero commitment is only credible when it rests on a verified baseline, science-aligned interim targets and a plan of abatement measures with capital, savings and timing. We model your decarbonisation levers — energy efficiency, electrification, renewables, process change, fuel switching and supplier engagement — and build a roadmap that can be validated by SBTi, disclosed in BRSR and ISSB reports, and tracked by your board.

Starting price
From ₹2,00,000
Turnaround
45–90 working days

Green Building Certification (IGBC, GRIHA, LEED)

Green building ratings reward design and construction choices that cut energy, water and materials impact, and in many states they unlock additional FSI/FAR, faster approvals or property-tax rebates. We help you choose the right rating system and level, register the project, run the credit strategy through design and construction with your architects and MEP consultants, and compile the documentation for pre-certification and final certification.

Starting price
From ₹2,00,000
Turnaround
90–365 working days

Product Eco-Certifications (Ecomark, FSC, RoHS, EPD)

Buyers, tender authorities and export markets increasingly require proof that a product is environmentally preferable, legally compliant and traceably sourced. We guide you through India's Ecomark scheme, FSC and PEFC chain-of-custody certification for paper, wood and packaging, RoHS compliance for electrical and electronic products under the E-Waste Rules and EU directives, and ISO 14025 Environmental Product Declarations built on life-cycle assessment.

From ₹60,000

Common questions

Sustainability & ESG, explained

What is a materiality assessment and why does it come first?

Materiality identifies the ESG topics that genuinely matter to your business and stakeholders — for example water stress for a textile mill or product safety for a pharma company — so that effort and disclosure focus on them. GRI, ISSB and BRSR all expect you to explain how material issues were identified, and a documented assessment is the foundation for every later report.

What is BRSR Core and how is it different from BRSR?

BRSR Core is a sub-set of the BRSR consisting of nine key attributes with specific KPIs — GHG footprint, water footprint, energy footprint, waste, employee wellbeing and safety, gender diversity, inclusive development, fairness in customer and supplier engagement and openness of business — that SEBI requires to be subject to reasonable assurance or, following the December 2024 amendments, independent assessment by a qualified third party. The full BRSR remains the report; BRSR Core is the audited core of it.

What are Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions?

Scope 1 covers direct emissions from sources you own or control — fuel burned in boilers, furnaces, generators and company vehicles, process emissions and refrigerant leaks. Scope 2 covers indirect emissions from purchased electricity, steam, heating and cooling. Scope 3 covers all other indirect emissions in your value chain across 15 categories, from purchased materials and logistics to the use and disposal of your products, and is usually the largest share.

What is the difference between net zero and carbon neutral?

Carbon neutrality, as defined in ISO 14068-1 and PAS 2060, means balancing emissions with an equivalent quantity of offsets and can be achieved for a product, site or year without deep reductions. Net zero under the SBTi standard requires reducing absolute value-chain emissions by around 90 percent against the base year, with only residual emissions neutralised through permanent removals. Net zero is the more demanding and more credible claim.

IGBC, GRIHA or LEED — which should we choose?

IGBC is the most widely used in India, cost-effective and recognised by most state incentive schemes; GRIHA is the national rating favoured for government and public-sector projects and is required for certain central government buildings; LEED carries the strongest international recognition and is often required by multinational occupiers. The right choice depends on your tenant or buyer profile, the incentives available in your state and the building type.

What is the Ecomark scheme and has it changed?

Ecomark is India's government eco-label, originally launched in 1991 and relaunched through the Ecomark Rules, 2024 notified by MoEFCC under the EP Act. The scheme is now administered by the CPCB with BIS, with product-specific criteria covering raw materials, manufacturing, use and disposal. Products must meet the relevant Indian Standard for quality and the Ecomark environmental criteria to use the label, which is increasingly referenced in government procurement.
