Environmental compliance is a calendar of obligations that never stops: consent renewals, Form V, hazardous waste returns, EPR filings, EC compliance reports, groundwater reporting, monitoring and inspections. Our retainer gives you a dedicated compliance manager, a live obligation register with reminders, preparation and filing of every return, representation during inspections and advisory support on new rules — at a predictable monthly fee instead of crisis-driven consulting.
Legal basis: All applicable obligations under the Water Act, 1974; Air Act, 1981; Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and rules (Hazardous and Other Wastes, Plastic Waste, E-Waste, Battery Waste, Bio-Medical Waste, Solid Waste); EIA Notification, 2006 (EC conditions); CGWA guidelines; and the EPR regimes administered on CPCB portals

How we get it done
- 1
Onboarding and obligation register
Week 1–2We collect all approvals and filings, verify their status on the portals and build a complete obligation register with due dates, owners and evidence requirements for each site.
- 2
Compliance calendar and reminders
Week 2–3The register becomes a live calendar with reminders issued to your team and ours ahead of every deadline, including renewals filed well before expiry to avoid lapses.
- 3
Monthly compliance cycle
Ongoing — monthlyEach month we collect monitoring and operational data, prepare and file the returns and reports due, track corrective actions and flag any exceedances or risks to management.
- 4
Inspections and regulator engagement
As requiredWe prepare the site for SPCB and CPCB inspections, attend them where required, draft replies to notices and manage hearings and follow-up submissions.
- 5
Quarterly review and regulatory updates
QuarterlyA quarterly compliance dashboard goes to management with status, upcoming obligations and the impact of new notifications and amendments on your operations.
If you don’t comply
A single missed deadline can cascade: operating on an expired consent is an offence under Sections 25/26 of the Water Act and Section 21 of the Air Act with closure directions available to the SPCB; unfiled EPR returns attract environmental compensation from CPCB and suspension of registration; and non-compliance with EC conditions invites show-cause notices and revocation. The retainer exists to eliminate these avoidable exposures and to replace unpredictable penalty and consulting spend with a fixed monthly cost.

Frequently asked questions
What is included in the monthly retainer fee?
The base retainer covers the obligation register and calendar, preparation and filing of all routine returns and reports (Form V, hazardous waste returns, EPR filings, EC compliance reports and similar), coordination of monitoring, inspection support and unlimited advisory calls on compliance questions. New applications such as consent renewals, EPR registrations or amendments are quoted separately at preferential rates, and government fees are always extra.
How is the fee determined?
Pricing starts at ₹15,000 per month for a single site with a standard set of consents and scales with the number of sites, authorizations, EPR categories and monitoring frequency. We provide a fixed quote after reviewing your approvals during onboarding so there are no surprises.
Who from MYDA Group will we deal with?
You get a named compliance manager who knows your plants and regulators, backed by our technical team for monitoring data review, EPR, EIA conditions and legal interpretation. The compliance manager is your single point of contact for every deadline and query.
Can we start with the retainer if we already have pending non-compliances?
Yes, and that is often the best time. Onboarding includes a compliance status check; any lapsed consents, overdue returns or open notices are listed with a remediation plan, and we quote the regularisation work separately so the retainer takes over once the baseline is clean.
Is there a minimum term?
The retainer is an annual engagement billed monthly, because compliance obligations run on an annual cycle and the value compounds as the register and relationships mature. You can scale scope up or down at the annual review, and sites can be added at any time.
